Community Action

EVPA is run entirely by volunteers. We are led by a committee of around 10 members, elected each year at our AGM, and we always welcome new people—whether you’d like to join the committee or simply lend a hand with one of our practical projects.
Alongside EVPA, we also support active village groups including the Friends of Torr Park and the Graveyard Team, who do fantastic work caring for Eastham’s green spaces and heritage.
There are lots of ways to get involved, from litter picks and watering the hanging baskets, to helping the Friends of Torr Park with bulb planting and local clean-ups. We also need volunteers for projects such as restoring historic road signs, Speed Watch, leaflet delivery, and supporting events like the Wirral History Fair, village walks, and our contribution to National Heritage Open Days.
If you can spare even a little time, we would love to add you to our helpers list—every extra pair of hands helps keep Eastham looking its best.
