Torr Park volunteers are happy with their work

New Volunteers Welcome

Eastham Village Preservation Association is run entirely by volunteers. Our work is delivered through a number of focused Projects and community initiatives, each of which depends upon local support and participation.

Current volunteer opportunities include:

Friends of Torr Park (including Eastham cricket).

Supporting improvement, maintenance and community use of Torr Park as a valued village asset.

The Graveyard Team

Caring for Eastham’s historic churchyard, preserving dignity, heritage and community memory.

Community Speed Watch

Working with police to monitor speeding and improve safety within the Conservation Area.

The Eastham Wombles (litter picking team)

Organising regular litter picks to keep Eastham clean, welcoming and well cared for.

Hanging Basket Watering Team

Maintaining village floral displays through regular watering and seasonal planting support.

Even a small contribution of time can make a meaningful difference. Every additional pair of hands helps us protect and enhance Eastham as a thriving Conservation Area.

If you can spare even a little time, we would love to add you to our volunteers —every extra pair of hands helps keep Eastham looking its best.
