Eastham is Wirral’s oldest village, with roots in pre-Conquest Mercia and the medieval Manor of “Estham”, once stretching across much of eastern Wirral.
Today the village is home to 11 nationally Listed Buildings and several locally important heritage sites, including St Mary’s Church, Eastham House (1692), historic cottages and schools, and the War Memorial.
Eastham’s character is shaped not just by its buildings, but by its winding lanes, sandstone walls, ancient yew tree, and historic graveyard—set within green fields that still protect the village from the surrounding industrial landscape.
It is our job to protect, preserve and enhance these assets
