All trees in the Eastham Conservation Area are protected
All trees in the Eastham Conservation Area are protected. Any work on them, including pruning, requires Council permission. The Council has a dedicated tree officer who will examine all applications. EVPA is invited to comment on all such applications,

Wirral Council’s Local Plan contains all the planning guidelines relating to Eastham Village

Eastham’s History
Hooton Hall
Hooton Hall was the home of the Stanley family from the 14th century until 1849 when it was purchased by Richard Naylor who lived there until about 1890. Naylor was a succesful racehorse owner and won the Derby in 1863 with his horse, Macaroni. He also owned Stockwell, the most successful sire of all time.
